The race finishes at the western side of Manly wharf.
Paddlers will start under the Harbour Bridge. No paddlers can enter the main shipping channel until 5 minutes prior to start. Any paddler entering the channel before the start will risk being disqualified.
After the start paddlers will head east to a turning boat near Fort Denison. Keeping this boat to your right you then go to another turning boat at Bradley’s Head. Once again keep this to your right. After rounding Bradley’s Head paddlers will keep to the Western Shore to a marker off Dobroyd Head. Keeping this on your right paddlers will then proceed to the west side of the Manly Wharf.
